William Nixon was one of Farmington’s early settlers, and a Civil War veteran. His gravestone in Corinthian Cemetery cites the many engagements he participated in as part of the Co. A. 1st Minnesota Volunteer Infantry. The organizers of Farmington’s annual Patriotic Day would like to share some of those soldiers’ stories at this year’s event.
