Waste Enclosures
Dakota County will receive single prime sealed bids for the bid package for Waste Enclosures Replacement at the Dakota County Western Service Center, 14955 Galaxie Avenue, Apple Valley. MN 55124 and Wentworth Library, 199 East Wentworth Avenue, West Saint Paul, MN 55118, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 at the office of Facilities Management, Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, Minnesota, 55033, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-bid meeting and tour will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at the Western Service Center waste enclosure. Representatives of the Owner and Architect/Engineer will be present.

Prevailing wages are required on this project.
Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount.
Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project at 10:00 a.m. on November 28th at it's regular meeting at the Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, MN 55033 and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Estimated cost for this project is $180,000.
