Fifth-seeded Farmington managed to make some noise in the South Division Senior Babe Ruth Tournament last weekend.

Farmington upset fourth-seeded Faribault 7-4 in the opening round, then put a scare into top-seeded Bloomington, holding a 5-2 lead late in an eventual 8-5 loss on Friday night. The team concluded a 3-14 summer season with a 10-8 loss to No. 3 Lakeville North on Saturday at Alimagnet Park in Burnsville.
