Boys golf: Grengs shoots 81 to lead FHS golf team at Chan

The Farmington boys golf team made their season debut Monday with a sixth-place finish out of seven teams at the Chanhassen Invitational.

The Tigers finished with a team score of 349, 53 off the pace of meet champion Edina.

Darby Grengs led the team with an 18-hole round of 81 at Deer Run Golf Course. Jake Jensen carded an 88 and Luke Berg and Isaac Ferm each supplied 90s. Brock Lange added a 93 and Tyler VanWinkle had a 97.
