Toni Lalani and Cooper Loew were just a stroke back of May with matching rounds of 83 and Erik Holmstrom stepped up to provide the final counting score with a round of 84.

Matt Provost (87) and Jacob Hanson (89) provided the final two varsity scores.

The Tigers actually fared better in the JV portion of the meet, with a score of 328 that was four strokes lower than what the varsity carded.

Kevin Olund and Ryan Kelly led the JV with rounds of 81. Mike Dalhed and Mitch Reed followed with matching 83s as the JV finished first at the meet and fourth in the final Missota Conference standings.

The Farmington varsity shot a season-best round of 319 in its final home meet of the season last Thursday at Fountain Valley.

The Falcons won with a score of 314, but May claimed medalist honors with a round of 73.

Loew followed with an 81, Lalani shot an 82 and Hanson rounded out the counting scores with an 83.

The Tigers prepared for next Tuesday's Section 1AAA Meet at Bellwood Oaks Golf Course by taking on Lakeville North at the same course Wednesday afternoon. Results will appear in next week's edition of the Independent.
