Boys hockey: Stars, Trojans make for tough first week in Missota

Farmington's six-game winning streak came to a screeching halt when its Missota Conference schedule got underway last week.

The Tigers managed to keep pace with perennial power Holy Angels for three minutes before falling 13-1 in last Tuesday's league opener at Schmitz-Maki Arena. The Stars, ranked fifth in Class AA, scored four goals in the first period and rolled to their first victory in four tries.
