Quinn Malcolm accounted for three of the goals Monday against Spring Lake Park, giving him nine for the season. Matt Ackerman added two goals and Justin Rees scored once.

Assists were provided by Nick Midboe (2), Alex Rojesky and Mitch Collier.

Charlie Weierke played 40 minutes in goal and allowed nine of Spring Lake Park's goals. Matt Henzerling-Wiese played in front of the net for eight minutes and allowed two goals.

The Tigers, now 0-8 in their inaugural season, made their strongest bid yet for a victory Thursday against Owatonna. They trailed just 6-5 heading into the fourth quarter before the Huskies scored six goals to take control.

Trevor Howard led the Tigers with two goals in the contest. Rees, Malcolm, Collier, Ackerman and Rojesky each scored once.

Weierke supplied 11 saves while allowing 10 Owatonna goals in 40 minutes between the pipes.

The Tigers are back in action tonight when they take on Prior Lake at Twin Oaks Middle School.
