Rambling River Days

Farmington's annual summer celebration is going to be a whole lot bigger this year. Rambling River Days is expanding to 10 days this year with events every day from June 12-22. Salad luncheon

Farmington Lutheran Church will hold its annual salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 12.

The church is located at 20600 Akin Road.

June 15

Reunion deadline

The Farmington High School class of 1963 will hold its 45th reunion Aug. 8 and 9, 2008 at the Farmington American Legion and Rambling River Park. There is no charge for the Apg. 8 gathering at the Farmington American Legion Organizers are asking FHS graduates interested in attending to RSVP by June 15 for Saturday's catered picnic at Rambling River Park. Mail a check for $10 to Lois Kelly, 14370 Cormorant Way, Rosemount, MN 55068.

UMore Park

open house

There will be an open house at 6 p.m. June 19 to present concept designs for the proposed developent on UMore Park property in Empire Township. There will be a presentation at 6 p.m., a question and answer session at 6:30 and opportunities to view the scenarios and make comments from 7 to 9. Genealogy class

The Dakota City genealogy class will meet at 1 p.m. June 21 at Ahlberg Hall on the Dakota County Fairgrounds. Anyone interested in family history is invited to attend.
