Turkey Bingo

The Farmington/Hampton Knights of Columbus will hold its annual Turkey Bingo party from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 22 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 220th Street and Denmark Avenue. There will be a sloppy joe supper at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds will go to the Farmington Food Shelf.

Scrap-a-thon

Local scrapbookers looking for a good time to get projects done can take advantage of a the 12-hour Grand Gala scrap-a-thon from noon to midnight Saturday, Nov. 22 at Grand Hall Studios, 217 Oak. Soup luncheon

The First Presbyterian Church of Farmington will hold its annual soup luncheon and craft and bake sale at 11 a.m. Nov. 23. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 625 Heritage Way.

Book club

The Farmington Friends of the Library book club will meet at 7 p.m. in the meeting room of the library, 508 Third St. The book for November is The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon.

Guitar Hero

Farmington teens can visit the Dakota County Library from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 25 to play Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution on the big screen.

Thanksgiving service

The Farmington Ministerial Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 22120 Denmark Ave. Refreshments will be served following the service. All are welcome.

Boy Scout tree lot

Farmington Boy Scout Troop 116 will run its Christmas tree lot from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 28-30 at the Reisinger Farm on Akin Road. The Scouts will sell trees and wreaths.

Community meal

There is a community meal at 5:30 p.m. the second and fourth Thursday of the month at Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Road, Farmington. The meal is free but a free will offering is accepted. The Farmington Public Library invites children of all ages to Holiday Stories and Movies from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 12.

Holiday luncheon

St. Mathias Catholic Council of Women of Hampton will hold their annual holiday luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 13 in the basement of the church, located at the corner of Highway 50 and County Road 47. There will be German food, a bake sale and door prizes.
