Swenson, Klima

compete at Cannon

Senior Terra Klima and freshman Brianna Swenson got to close out their respective seasons by playing a round together at Monday's Section 1AA Meet in Cannon Falls.

After playing in separate groups on Day 1 of the tournament, the Farmington golfers were randomly paired together on Day 2.

Klima closed out her career with her second round of 103, giving her a 206 that placed her in the top 30.

"It was a nice way for Terra to end her outstanding athletic career at Farmington," Farmington coach Rob Carpentier said.

Swenson followed up her opening round of 100 with a 112 on Monday.

"She came in a little nervous, but it was a great experience to play here as a freshman," Carpentier said.
