The Farmington girls golf team hosted the final Missota Conference golf meet last Wednesday at Fountain Valley Golf Course.

The Tigers fielded a lineup of just four players and finished seventh in the seven-team field. Red Wing won the meet, topping runner-up New Prague 338-345. Chanhassen was third with 365 strokes, followed by Northfield with 379, Shakopee with 397, Chaska with 398 and Farmington with 463.


Brianna Swanson supplied the Tigers’ low round, carding a 46 on the front nine and a 51 on the back nine for a 97. Kaitlin Jokinen was right behind, shooting a pair of 49s for a total of 98. Sidney Comes had a 118 and Kassandra Kuchenberg carded a 150.

The Tigers close out the season Tuesday with the Section 1AA meet at Cannon Valley Golf Club.
