Farmington police warn of teenager trying to scam money from residents

Farmington police are looking for help in locating a teenager who may be trying to scam residents by claiming to raise money for a school fundraiser.


Just before 4 p.m. Friday, Farmington police posted a message on the city of Farmington's social media sites, warning residents about a potential scam involving a juvenile male. According to the message, the teen is going door to door, claiming to sell cookies for a camp sponsored by Boeckman Middle School.
