Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program
The City of Farmington invites all interested parties to attend a public hearing, in conjunction with the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting, on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the Farmington City Hall, located at 430 Third Street in Farmington. The purpose of the meeting is to present, discuss and gather comments regarding the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP). Information will be presented regarding the activities the City has been and will be engaging in as a result of implementing the SWPPP. Items that will be discussed include; the original SWPPP, status of compliance regarding Permit conditions, appropriateness of best management practices (BMP's) listed in the storm water plan, and progress toward achieving the measurable goals.
A copy of the SWPPP is available for review at Farmington City Hall and on the City's website at http://www.ci.farmington.mn.us/Natural.htm. Please submit written comments to the following:
