The Farmington swimming and diving team may be wearing out its welcome at the Bloomington Kennedy Eagle Invitational.

The Tigers won the meet for the third straight year Saturday afternoon, winning four events as they outscored runner-up Minneapolis Southwest/Henry 590-525. Teams from Bloomington Jefferson (377), Red Wing (363), Eau Claire North (286) and Bloomington Kennedy (163) also competed.

"Last year we won it by over 300 points. Keeping that in mind, we really mixed up the events the girls swam," Farmington coach Jen Marshall said. "I'm very proud of the versatility as they had some great performances in coming home with the hardware."

Junior Kaitlyn O'Reilly was once again part of all four first-place finishes for the Tigers. Individually, she claimed meet titles in the 200 freestyle with a meet record time of 2 minutes, 63-hundredths of a second and the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:02.90. She also led off a first-place 200 freestyle relay that also included Chloe Holton, Robin Ellis and Chelsea Gehrke and anchored the meet-record setting 400 freestyle relay, which featured Cora Ruzicka, Kirsten Kracke and Ellie Sundet.

Kracke, Gehrke, Ruzicka and Sundet opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay. Ruzicka came back two events later to place third in the 200 individual medley and Sundet followed with a fifth-place swim in the 50 freestyle.

Ruzicka also placed third in the 100 backstroke.

Gehrke joined Ruzicka as a double place-winner. She was fourth in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke.

The Tigers placed multiple individuals in the top five in both the 1-meter dive and 500 freestyle. Kendall Novak, Tori Sontag and Melanie Brothers came in 2-4-5 in the dive and Kracke and Holton were 2-4 in the 500 freestyle.

The Tigers resume their Missota Conference schedule tonight against Chaska at Dodge Middle School.
