Farmington traffic stop turns up forged checks

Email

What could have been a routine traffic stop turned into a much bigger problem for a 20-year-old Burnsville woman Dec. 11 in Farmington.

A Farmington police officer stopped Megan Elizabeth Weiss at around 10 p.m. that night after watching her fail to stop at a stop sign and pull out in front of oncoming traffic. According to a complaint filed last week in the Dakota County Attorney’s office, Weiss pulled over but then put her truck into reverse and hit the squad car.
