Girls basketball: A fast start for Farmington

Email

It took just four games for the Farmington girls basketball team to better its win total from a season ago.

Coming off a 2-25 campaign, the Tigers improved to 3-1 with their third straight victory on the road last Thursday at Rochester Century. The team fell to a talented Owatonna team on the road Saturday, but at 3-2 still sits above the .500 mark for the first time since the end of the 2010 season.
