Chanhassen closed with a 21-6 run over the final seven minutes to secure a 52-37 win over Farmington Friday night at Tiger Gym.

The Tigers trailed 28-23 at the break, but rallied to take a brief 32-31 lead before going cold.

“We did not shoot well that evening. It seemed like there was a lid on the basket and we could not find that spark to get us going,” Farmington coach Sondra Chadwick said. “It was just one of those nights and the girls became less aggressive because of shots not falling.”

Sofia Chadwick led the Tigers with 13 points. She also grabbed five rebounds, handed out four assists and grabbed three steals.

Abby Gallus added nine points and eight rebound and Jordyn Homeier tacked on six points and six rebounds. Despite the loss, the Tigers finished with a 36-33 edge on the glass.

The Tigers (8-7) traveled to Chaska Tuesday before returning home to face Shakopee tomorrow night at Tiger Gym.
