"The girls were on fire. The energy in the gym was unbelievable," Farmington coach Lynn Bauman said. "Everyone was on their feet cheering and showing off to the fullest."

The atmosphere helped produce some historic results. Senior standout Haley Luhman set a personal record in the all-around with a 36.2, Terra Klima broke her own record in the bars with a 9.45, senior Amy Kiminski scored a personal-best 9.1 in the beam and the team put three gymnasts at 9.0 or better in the beam and floor exercise for the first time ever.

"I am just so proud of all the girls and their performance and their sportsmanship they showed," Bauman said. "It was unforgettable and impressive."

Luhman scored at least 8.8 in all four events in compiling her first-place and career-best score. She was second in the vault at 8.8, third in the bars at 8.825, second in the beam at 9.35 and tied for second with teammate Kathryn Beckett in the floor exercise with a 9.225.

Klima's 9.45 was one of the top bars scores posted in the state this year. She followed that up with a fifth-place 9.025 in the balance beam.

Kiminski was fourth in the beam and third in the all-around with a score of 34.275.

Erin Hickey added a fourth-place score of 8.75 in the vault.

Led by senior Taylor Just's first-place all-around score of 29.05, Farmington won the JV portion of the meet, 123.5-122.15.

Leah Rhode won both the vault and floor exercise with scores of 8.4 and 8.5, respectively. Briana Ruiz was third overall in the bars and senior Miranda Guilfoyle earned third in the beam. Senior Jenna Moore also competed in the JV meet.

The Tigers showed some signs of rust after a weekend without practice, but still managed to dominate Red Wing 136.55-111.625 in a conference dual Monday night.
