Hanson will take Farmington finance job pending city council approval


If all goes according to plan, the city of Farmington will welcome a new finance director on Sept. 20.

Farmington resident Robin Hanson has accepted the city's offer to become the finance director. She has been offered a starting salary of $76,448. City administrator David McKnight is pleased with her decision.

"I like her planning abilities that she brings to her job," McKnight said.

Michelle Leonard started covering the Farmington community in June, 1994. Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications: News-Editorial from Mankato State University in 1991.
