The Dakota County Library in Farmington opened the doors as its new location in Farmington City Hall Monday. The temporary library space has lots of seating and all of the other favorite offerings of the county library system. The regular library building, located across the street, is being renovated this winter and spring.

The doors to the relocated Dakota County Library in Farmington opened at noon on Monday, and it took visitors little time to find the new location.

In fact, it took less than 15 minutes for at least a dozen patrons to find their way up to the second level of Farmington City Hall, where the library is located for the next six months or so.

She is an active member of the Farmington American Legion Auxiliary Unit 189, and acts as the volunteer coordinator for the Minnesota Newspaper Museum which is open annually during the Minnesota State Fair.
