Korean War is focus of Farmington's Patriotic Day military event
It's been called "The Forgotten War," but in Farmington, the Korean War is being remembered this November. In fact, it is the focus of this year's annual Patriotic Day celebration.
Planners of the event have located a Korean War veteran and speaker, Wayne Uptagrafft, who was involved in special operations during the Korean War. The group has researched music of the period, as well.
Now all they want to find are some of Farmington's Korean War veterans.
