Letter: Bad experience at the dealership
To the editor,
Last week I?went to a car dealer. I am an older woman who wanted to sell my husband's truck. At the dealer, three men looked at the truck. They wanted to buy it and we agreed on a price. One of them signed a contract and cut a check. Then he decided to cancel the deal, saying he had no use for the truck at this time. He told me the truck was not good and that I?had to give the check back. He now has all of our personal information.
This man took advantage of an old woman. I feel that he set out to harm me. Isn't there a law against car dealers like this?
