Rotary Club of Farmington

The Rotary Club of Farmington is picking up speed in its planning for the 2013 edition of Ramble Jam, and it's looking for people who want to get involved.

There are several ways to do that, and there will be more as the Sept. 20 event date gets closer. For the moment, the club is looking for local businesses interested in being a sponsor for or a vendor at the event.

Ramble Jam, a two-day country music festival, is in its third year at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. This year's edition will take place outdoors and is expected to draw 5,000 fans. Lineups will be announced April 29.

Money raised at Ramble Jam supports local projects including scholarships for high school students and STRIVE, a mentoring project aimed at FHS students who are at risk of not graduating.

There are several sponsorship levels available, each with its own package of benefits. For more information, visit the event's website at ramblejamcountry.com or facebook.com/ramblejam.
