School bus involved in minor accident Friday morning
A District 192 school bus was involved in a minor accident early Friday morning. No students were hurt.
According to district spokesperson Aaron Tinklenberg the bus, carrying middle- and high school students, was rear-ended by a private vehicle just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Pilot Knob Road and 195th Street.
Farmington police officers and bus company officials responded to the accident. Students were examined at the scene, then sent to school on a new bus. Tinklenberg said school officials will continue to check on students throughout the day.
Farmington police will investigate the accident.
