Week 4: Tigers shut out, 34-0

The Farmington football team was shut out for the second straight game in Friday night's 34-0 Missota Conference loss at Shakopee.

The Sabers, who led 31-0 by halftime, improved their record to 4-0.

The Tigers, now 1-3, were shutout for the second straight game after having been held scoreless just twice from 2004 through 2009.

Mark Froehling's team will try to get back in the win column next Friday when it hosts a 1-3 Holy Angels team for Homecoming. The Stars lost their first three games, including a 13-10 decision to a Red Wing team Farmington defeated 21-14, but tonight they defeated a Chanhassen squad that the Tigers lost to 20-0 last week.
