Working through conflict
The Farmington Rotary Club will host "Working Through Conflict" by Kerry Singh from noon to 1 p.m. April 23 at the Farmington Eagles Club. All are welcome to attend. No reservation is needed. Singh has 20 years experience in management and training.

Economic town hall
Farmington Lutheran Church will host a nationwide town hall meeting featuring money-management expert Dave Ramsey at 7 p.m. April 23.
Thousands of venues across the country will broadcast Ramsey's live presentation. He'll talk about the economy and make suggestions for managing money. He'll also spend an hour answering questions.
The Farmington Public Library will offer storytime for babies up to 24 months from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. April 24. Storytimes include stories, songs, bounces and playtime.

Fund raiser dinner
Terry Pieper, who will walk 170 miles across the VFW's Second District from April 19-25, will stop in Farmington from 5 to 6 p.m. April 24 for an evening of fund raising. The post will serve hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and onion rings. The walk and the dinner will raise money for Unmet Needs and Operation Uplink.
Trinity Lutheran Church April Fair
Trinity Lutheran Church will hold its April Fair from 5 to 7 p.m. April 25 at the church, located at the corner of Sixth and Walnut streets. The church will serve its "famous" Dakota County Fair hot beef sandwiches and will hold a white elephant sale and bake sale. Tickets will be available at the door.

The Castle Rock, Empire, Eureka and Farmington Area Enhancement Group will present the mayoral Black and White Ball from 8 p.m. to midnight April 25 at the Grand Hall ballroom. The Rockin' Hollywoods will perform.

Trinity Care Center will hold a volunteer appreciation social at 1:30 p.m. April 25. There will be live entertainment and food.

Scouting for food
Scouts and leaders from Farmington's Cub Scout and Boy Scout packs will go door-to-door from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 25 to collect food for the Farmington Food Shelf. The Scouts will accept non-perishable food, paper products and toiletries. The troops' goal is to collect 3 1/2 tons of food.
KCs waffle breakfast
The Knights of Columbus ladies auxiliary will hold an all-you-can-eat Belgian waffle breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 26 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Call Mary at 651-460-6141 for tickets. Tickets are also available at the door.
