Benefit for Bekka Peterson
There will be a benefit for Farmington High School graduate Bekka Peterson from 4 to 8 p.m. March 22 at Carbone’s in Farmington. Becca, a student at the University of St. Thomas, was hit by a car Nov. 24 and suffered a traumatic brain injury and permanent eye damage among other injuries. The fundraiser, which includes a spaghetti dinner, silent auction and music, will help cover her medical costs. Parents’ Night OutThere will be a Parents’ Night Out fundraiser for Farmington Travel Baseball from 4 to 8 p.m. March 22 at Babe’s Bar and Grill in Lakeville. There will be bottomless glasses of beer from 4 to 6 p.m. and music at 9 p.m. as well as prize drawings, a 50/50 drawing and a silent auction. Mexican train dominoesThere will be a game of Mexican train dominoes from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at the Rambling River Center in Farmington. There will be a game March 24. Anyone is welcome to play. Rambling River Center is located at 325 Oak St.
