Late 4 Lunch will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. Sept. 6 at Dunn Bros. in Farmington. Dunn Bros. is located at 20700 Chippendale Ave. in the Tamarack Ridge Center.



Mosaics with Abrakadoodle

Create designs using rice, dried beans and other natural materials from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 7 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The class is for ages 5 to 12. Registration is required. Visit for more information.

Benefit for Jorden Hopkins

There will be a benefit at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at Celts Pub for Jorden Hopkins, who was hit by a car while crossing Highway 3 on a bike.

Ramble Jam pre-party

The Rotary Club of Farmington will hold a Ramble Jam pre-party from 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 7 at Celts Pub in Farmington. There will be music, prize giveaways and all the beer you can drink for $10. Money raised will benefit the club and its projects both in Farmington and beyond.

Teen Advisory Group

The Dakota County Farmington Library’s teen advisory group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at the library. The TAG recommends books and music, helps plan library programs and participates in community events and service projects. The group is open to teens ages 12 to 18. New members are welcome.

Farmington Library evening book group

Farmington Library evening book group goes from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. September 9. This month’s book is The Least Likely Bride by Jane Feather. New members are welcome.

Farmington Library afternoon book group

The Farmington Library afternoon book group will hold a showing of the movie Seabiscuit from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 10. New members are welcome.

Charity garage sale

St. Anne’s Circle from St. Michael’s Catholic Church will hold a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11-14. The sale will be located at 608 Fairview Cir. All proceeds will go to needy families at Christmas.
