There will be a kids dance, naturalist and science activities, art projects and more. The Minnesota Zoomobile will be present as well.

Paper shred fest
Farmington residents can bring confidential documents to be shredded from 10 a.m. to noon April 26 at Farmington City Hall. Protect yourself from identity theft and recycle at the same time.
Death of a Salesman
Farmington High School Theater will present Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman at 7 p.m. April 24, 25, 26 in the Boeckman Middle School Auditorium. Cost is $8 for an adult, $5 for students and seniors. This play is not advised for children.
Immanuel Cemetery Association meeting
The Immanuel Cemetery Association will hold its annual meetings April 29 at Faith United Methodist Church. The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. and there will be a general meeting at 7 p.m.
Trinity Lutheran Church Spring Fair
Trinity Lutheran Church will hold its annual spring fair from 5 to 7 p.m. May 3. There will be a roast beef sandwich dinner and bake sale and bluegrass music from Blue Wolf Trio. The church is located at 600 Walnut St.
Afternoon book group
The Farmington Library Afternoon Book Group will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. May 6 at Dunn Bros. in Farmington. Visit tinyurl.com/n7s7n35 for this month’s selection.
Friends of the Library
Any community members interested in being part of a new Friends of the Library group in Farmington can attend an organization meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 6 at the library. The library is temporarily located on the second floor of city hall, 430 Third St.
Storytime for all ages
There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. May 9 at the temporary library location on the second floor of city hall, 430 Third St. Storytime includes stories and activities ideal for mixed-age groups.
