Blood drive

Deck expo

Dakota County Lumber will hold its annual deck expo from 4 to 8 p.m. April 26.

Diabetes support group

A diabetes support group will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 26 at the Farmington Allina Clinic. Anyone interested in diabetes can attend this free meeting. The speaker will be Dr. Allen Steed, a psychologist who will talk about depression and living with chronic illness.

Live music

Karl Burke will perform his trademark Americana/folk music from 7 to 9 p.m. April 27 at Dunn Bros. Coffee, 20700 Chippendale Ave.

Saturday

Paper shred fest

The Dakota County Farmington Library will hold a free paper shred-fest from 10 a.m. to noon April 28. Bring your confidential documents to the library to be shredded on site. The library is located at 508 Third St. The shred fest is sponsored by Castle Rock Bank.

Sunday

Italian dinner and concert

Farmington Lutheran Church Youth will hold an Italian dinner and concert at 5 p.m. April 15 at the church, 20600 Akin Road. Dinner will start at 5 p.m. The concert by Two Copper Coins will start at 6:15. Library book group

The Dakota County Farmington Library book group will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. May 1 to discuss the book Haunted Ground by Erin Hart. All are welcome. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Storytime for babies

The Dakota County Farmington Library will offer a storytime for babies from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. May 3. The event will feature stories, songs, bounces and playtime meant for children newborn to 24 months. The library is located at 508 Third St.
