Run for the Gold

The Run for the Gold race will take place beginning at 8 a.m. July 20. Register online through the Parks and Recreation Department at ci.rosemount.mn.us. Register by July 16 and save.

Youth shoot event

The Dakota County Gun Club will hold their annual youth shooting events on the first and third Saturdays of July and August. The next event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 20. Youth up to 16 years of age can participate. All equipment provided, and the event is free.

Block party and car show

The Farmington Business association will hold its annual block party and car show starting at 4 p.m. July 20 downtown Farmington. There will be a steel drum band from 4 to 8 p.m. and live music from Standing Room Only from 8:30 to 11.

Come to the VFW Club from 5 to 8 p.m. July 20 for a steak fry. The steak fry is sponsored by the Farmington Business Association. The VFW Club is located at 421 Third St.
