There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Storytime includes stories and activities ideal for a mixed age group. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Comedy show

There will be a stand-up comedy show starting at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Farmington VFW. The club is located at 421 Third St.

Boyd Huppert at the library

Award-winning Kare11 journalist Boyd Huppert will share some of his favorites from the "Land of 10,000 Stories" series from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Lego and Duplos at the library

Kids ages 2 to 12 can get their imaginations working by exploring the many things they can create with Lego from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Farmington Fire Department Turkey Bingo

The Farmington Fire Department will hold its 62nd annual turkey Bingo event from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 10 at Fire Station No. 1 on Denmark Ave. There will be food available, a raffle and cash-prize cover-all games at 8 and 10 p.m.

451st Army Band concert

The Farmington High School Wind Ensemble will host the 451st Army Band for a Veteran's Day concert entitled "Salute to Veterans: Telling Their Story" on Saturday, Nov. 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free and will be held at the FHS Recital Hall.

Omelet breakfast

Farmington Sons of the American Legion Squadron 189 will hold its monthly omelet breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 11 at Tailgaters, 10 Eighth St. Proceeds will benefit the SAL and its projects.

Pancake breakfast

The Farmington Knights of Columbus will hold a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 11 at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave. Money raised at the breakfast will go to a variety of worthy causes supported by the Knights of Columbus.

Steak fry

Boy Scout Troop #119 will hold a steak fry fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Farmington VFW, 421 Third St.

Veterans Day breakfast

The Farmington American Legion and VFW will hold a Veterans Day breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 12 at Tailgaters. Breakfast is free to all veterans and active military members. There will be a short program at 10 a.m.

Teen Library Day

The Dakota County Farmington Library will offer a variety of activities including games, crafts, readings and discussion from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13 for Teen Library Day. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Teen Advisory Group

The Dakota County Farmington Library Teen Advisory Group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at the library. The TAG recommends books and music, helps plan library programs and participates in community events and service projects. New members are welcome. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Myrtle Chapter #13 meeting

Myrtle Chapter #13 OES will hold its next regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Masonic Temple, 326 Third St. There will be a program honoring US military and veterans.

Guitar Hero at the library

Teens can play Guitar Hero on the big screen at the Dakota County Farmington Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Wine tasting

Farmington Liquors will hold a wine tasting event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the banquet room at Rambling River Center, 325 Oak Street.

First United Presbyterian Church will hold its fall bake sale and soup lunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17 at the church, 625 Heritage Way. Visitors can buy baked goods for the holiday season and stay for coffee or lunch.
