Your weekend: Free fun for military families Sunday
Military Family Day
Military families can enjoy an afternoon of fun from noon to 4 p.m. June 10 at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. The Yellow Ribbon Networks of Dakota County will offer an event that includes a free lunch, horse rides, a climbing wall and vehicles like fire trucks and police cars to explore. Teen advisory group
The Dakota County Farmington Library's teen advisory group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. June 11 followed by a book discussion from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The advisory group provides input on decisions related to content for teens at the library and helps plan library events. New members are welcome.
Teen Library Day
There will be a number of drop-in activities from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 12 to celebrate Teen Library Day at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Farmington Lutheran Church will hold its annual salad luncheon fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14. There will be salads, deviled eggs, desserts, rolls and beverages. Takeout is available. Farmington Lutheran Church is located at 20600 Akin Road.
Chocolate chip cookie contest
