Waffle breakfast fundraiser
The Farmington Tigers Cooperstown 2014 baseball team will hold a Dad’s Belgian Waffle breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at Farmington Lutheran Church. Money raised will go toward the team’s trip to Cooperstown, NY, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, for a training camp and tournament next summer. There will be a steak fry fundraiser benefitting Trinity Campus from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Farmington VFW. For more information call Joy at 651-460-1166.
Ramble Jam, Farmington Rotary’s annual country music festival, will take place Sept. 20 and 21 at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. This year’s performers include Frankie Ballard, Maggie Rose and Jerrod Niemann on Friday and Rocket Club, Parmalee, Brett Eldredge and Rodney Atkins on Saturday. Rambling River Center will hold a garage sale fundraiser from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8 to 11 a.m. Sept. 21. The center will accept donations of slightly used household items, clothing and other items from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 17 and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 18-20. Rambling River Center is located at 325 Oak St. in downtown Farmington.
