Storytime for all ages

The Dakota County Farmington Library will hold a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Sept. 20. Storytime includes stories and activities ideal for a mixed-age audience such as a childcare group or a family. The library is located at 508 Third St.

Saturday

Waffle breakfast fundraiser

The Farmington Tigers Cooperstown 2014 baseball team will hold a Dad’s Belgian Waffle breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at Farmington Lutheran Church. Money raised will go toward the team’s trip to Cooperstown, NY, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, for a training camp and tournament next summer. Steak fry

There will be a steak fry fundraiser benefitting Trinity Campus from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Farmington VFW. For more information call Joy at 651-460-1166.

Weekend

Ramble Jam

Ramble Jam, Farmington Rotary’s annual country music festival, will take place Sept. 20 and 21 at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. This year’s performers include Frankie Ballard, Maggie Rose and Jerrod Niemann on Friday and Rocket Club, Parmalee, Brett Eldredge and Rodney Atkins on Saturday. Garage sale

Rambling River Center will hold a garage sale fundraiser from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8 to 11 a.m. Sept. 21. The center will accept donations of slightly used household items, clothing and other items from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 17 and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 18-20. Rambling River Center is located at 325 Oak St. in downtown Farmington.
