Arts and crafts group

Anyone interested in the arts and craftwork in Farmington is invited to help develop ideas for a networking group to promote shows, sales and sharing at 2 p.m. March 28 in the Empire Room at Rambling River Center. Fish fry

The Church of St. Michael will hold its annual fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. March 28 in the social hall. The church is located at 22120 Denmark Ave.

Spaghetti feed

The Farmington Royal Ambassadors will hold their third annual spaghetti feed and silent auction from 12:30 to 3 p.m. March 29 at Celts in downtown Farmington. For advance tickets see 2014 Miss Farmington candidates or email chair@farmingtonroyalty.com. Businesses that would like to donate to the silent auction can also use that email address.

Waffle breakfast

The Farmington Knights of Columbus Auxiliary will hold a waffle breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 30 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Money raised will go to the church.

The Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a Blue Thumb workshop on planting for clean water at 6:15 p.m. April 1 at the Dakota County SWCD office, 4100 220th St. W in Farmington. Pancake breakfast

The Farmington Knights of Columbus will hold a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon April 6 at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave. Proceeds will go toward local community needs.

Library events

Storytime for all ages

There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. March 28 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Storytime includes stories and activities meant for mixed-age groups like families and daycare groups. The library is temporarily located on the second floor of Farmington City Hall, 430 Third St.

Farmington Library Afternoon Book Group

The Farmington Library Afternoon Book Group will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. April 1 at Dunn Bros., 20700 Chippendale Ave. This month’s book is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer.
