Easter egg hunt

Trinity Campus will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m. April 12 at Trinity Care Center. The indoor hunt will feature visits from the Easter bunny as well as an opportunity to dye eggs, decorate cookies and get your face painted. Trinity Care Center is located at 3410 213th St. W.

Veterans Omelet Breakfast

Farmington Sons of the American Legion and the VFW Men’s Auxiliary will hold their monthly Veterans Omelet Breakfast April 13, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Farmington VFW. Proceeds from the all-you-can-eat breakfast will go to the two clubs and their projects. The VFW is located at 421 Third St.

Mexican train dominoes

There will be a game of Mexican train dominoes from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at the Rambling River Center in Farmington. There will be a game April 14. Anyone is welcome to play. Rambling River Center is located at 325 Oak St.

Blood drive

There will be a Red Cross blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17 at Valmont Industries, 20805 Eaton Ave. in Farmington. For information or to make an appointment visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

Storytime for all ages

There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. April 11 at the temporary library location on the second floor of city hall, 430 Third St. Storytime includes stories and activities ideal for mixed-age groups.

Books and Beyond: Hop Into Spring

Kids up to 5 years old can have fun with stories, activities and crafts related to spring from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 10. The event will take place at the Meadowview Community Education Center, 6100 195th St. West in Farmington. Registration is required. For more information call the library at 651-438-0250.

Storytime for all ages

There will be a storytime for all ages from 10:30 to 11 a.m. April 11 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. Storytime includes stories and activities meant for mixed-age groups like families and daycare groups. The library is temporarily located on the second floor of Farmington City Hall, 430 Third St.

Teen Advisory Group

The Farmington Library Teen Advisory Group will meet at 6 p.m. April 14 in the Farmington Meeting Room. TAG recommends books and music, help plan library programs and participate in community events. Teens 12 to 18 can participate.

Friends of the Library meeting

There will be a meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 14 to form a Friends of the Library organization in Farmington. The meeting is scheduled to take place in the library’s temporary location on the second floor of city hall.

Men’s Book Group

The Farmington Library Men’s Book Group will meet at 7 p.m. April 15 at Dunn Brothers, 20700 Chippendale Ave. W.

The group will discuss Rough Country by John Sandford.

Libraries closed

All branches of the Dakota County Library system will be closed April 20 for Easter Sunday.

Dakota County Libraries will reopen for regular hours Monday, April 21.
