Diabetes support group

There will be a diabetes support group meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Allina Clinic in Farmington. This meeting, the first in a monthly series that will run through May, will be a group discussion led by Leo Avenido, MD. Future meetings will be held the last Thursday of each month. Memory loss workshop

Trinity Care Center and Trinity Terrace will present "Have I Lost My Mind or Just My Keys?" Memory Loss: What's normal? What's not? from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 24 in the dining room at Trinity Terrace. A light meal will be served. Seating is limited, so RSVP by Sept. 15 to Marsha, 651-460-1104.

Guitar Hero at the library

Teens can visit the Dakota County Farmington Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 24 to play Guitar Hero on the big screen in the meeting room.

Baby storytime

There will be a storytime for babies up to 24 months, their caregivers and their siblings from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Sept. 25 at the Dakota County Farmington Library. The event includes stories, songs, bounces and playtime.

Build your own scarecrow

Build your own scarecrow and register to win door prizes like a family four-pack of tickets to the Oct. 3 Twins game from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 and 27 at Bachman's Cedar Acres, 23004 Cedar Ave.

Class of 1969 reunion

The Farmington High School class of 1969 will hold its 40-year class reunion at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Farmington American Legion Club.

Blood drive

The Rotary Club of Farmington will hold Rocktoberfest, a day of music and family fun, starting at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. The seventh annual Support our Troops Haunted House will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 9 and 10 in the 4-H building at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. Lutefisk supper

Highview Christiania Lutheran Church will hold its annual Norwegian lutefisk supper at 3:30, 5 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10.
