NOTICE FOR FILING FOR TOWNSHIP
ELECTION
Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Castle Rock Township, Dakota County, State of Minnesota, that filing for town office will be held for a two week period beginning December 30, 2008.
Affidavits of Candidacy shall be filed with the Town Clerk at Castle Rock Town Hall, 2537 240th St. Farmington, MN between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday from December 30, 2008 to January 13, 2009, or by appointment by calling 651-460-2221.
Filing will close on Tuesday January 13, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
Filing fee - $2.00
Office to be filled at the March Annual Election are:
(1) Supervisor (D) 3-year term
(1) Supervisor (E) 3-year term
(1) Clerk 2-year term
There will also be a Town Question Ballot:
“Shall Option B, providing for the appointment of the clerk by the town board, be abandoned for the government of the town?”
The person only take office for the clerk if option B is abandoned.
Please specify which term you are interested in serving when filing.
