NOTICE of CASTLE ROCK TOWNSHIP

annual meeting and election and board of canvass meeting

Notice is hereby given that Castle Rock Township, County of Dakota, Minnesota will, on Tuesday March 10, 2009 conduct its Annual Town Meeting, Election and Board of Canvass meeting at the Castle Rock Town Hall located at 2537 240th Street W., Farmington, MN 55024.

The Election Polls will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to elect:

One Supervisor D for a three-year term

One Supervisor E for a three-year term

One Clerk for a one-year term (the successful candidate shall take office for the clerk if option B is abandoned)

The following ballot question will be submitted to the voters at the Election:

“Shall option B, providing for the appointment

of the clerk by the town board, be abandoned for the government of the town?”

The Annual Town Meeting will convened at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009.

In case of bad weather the Annual Town Meeting and Election will be held at the same time and place on the third Tuesday of March.

The Board of Canvass will meet on March 10, 2009 to certify the official election results.
