Farmington's gymnastics team capped off its season with another record-setting performance at Friday's Section 1AA championships at Winona State University.
A record-setting start in the balance beam set the tone as the Tigers once again broke their own record for best team score with a 139.275. The point total earned them sixth in the 10-team meet.
"We had an incredible team meet. The girls were on fire," Farmington coach Lynn Bauman said. "It was almost contagious. We started on balance beam and not one girl fell off the beam. We were shining right from the start."
The Tigers scored 35.75 in the meet-opening event, led by Haley Luhman's 9.3 that placed her 11th out of 47 competitors. Senior Katrina Fitzgerald was right behind in 13th with a career-best 9.25.
Luhman finished 11th out of 27 gymnasts in the all-around with a score of 35.825. She was ninth in the floor exercise with a 9.275 and 14th in the bars at 8.45.
Amy Kiminski was 17th in the all-around with a 34.224.
