Engaged: Michels - Beyl

Amanda Marie Michels and Brandon Clayton Beyl, both of Eagan, announce their engagement.

Amanda is the daughter of Carl and Peggy Michels of Montgomery. She is a 2003 graduate of Montgomery-Lonsdale High School, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in retail merchandising and management. She is employed as a sales manager at JC Penny in Burnsville.

Brandon is the son of Grant and Germaine Beyl of Farmington. He is a 2001 graduate of Farmington High School and is attending the University of Minnesota, where he is majoring in anthropology and minoring in Islamic studies. He is employed in the A-Co 2-135th Infantry of the Army National Guard, and was deployed to Iraq 2004 and Kosovo in 2007.

An April 25, 2009 wedding is planned at the Historic Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel.
