Remember yesterday when I said there were some changes coming to the Independent? Well, one of the additions we have in mind is a directory of local organizations looking for volunteers. If it works like we imagine, it will be a good resource for anyone looking to help out in their community.

For that to happen, though, we need a little help ourselves. We need to know who out there needs some volunteer help. It can be an ongoing need for assistance or a one-time project. We just want to let Farmington residents know what needs are out there.
