Upcoming events, Aug. 29 - Sept. 18

The Farmington American Legion Post 189 Ladies Auxiliary will hold its annual salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10 in the club dining room.

Youth bowling sign-up

There will be a youth bowling league sign-up from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 29 at Farmington Lanes. The league is for kids from kindergarten to high school. For information call Connie Honrud at 651-463-2475 or Farmington Lanes at 651-463-7811.

Pancake breakfast

Dakota City Heritage Village will hold a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 4-H building on the fairgrounds. People attending the breakfast must also purchase admission tickets to the Southern Cruzer’s Car Club Summer Spectacular.

Salad luncheon

The Farmington American Legion Post 189 Ladies Auxiliary will hold its annual salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10 in the club dining room. Tickets may be purchased from Auxiliary members or at the door the day of the event. Proceeds from the event help fund Auxiliary programs such as scholarships, Girl’s State and veteran programs.

Omelet breakfast

The Farmington Sons of the American Legion hold its first omelet breakfast of the year from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 13. The build-your-own, all-you-can-eat omelet breakfast includes cheesy potatoes, toast and coffee. Proceeds from this breakfast will benefit the Rambling River Center.

MOMS Club open house

Farmington MOMS Club will have its annual open house Friday, Sept. 18. There will be bounce houses, activities and snacks for the kids. Farmington moms and kids are welcome. Call 952-953-7077 for more information. Farmington MOMS Club is a non-profit organization providing support for stay at home and part-time working moms.

Class of 1969 reunion

The Farmington High School class of 1969 will hold its 40-year class reunion at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Farmington American Legion Club.
