Farmington’s cable channels
Farmington, Rosemount and Apple Valley have a signed franchise agreement with Charter Communications, the cable company that operates in all three cities. As part of that agreement, Farmington received $60,000 to set up equipment to broadcast its meetings on a dedicated cable channel. Now, Farmington’s city council and planning commission meetings are shown live on cable channel 16. They are also rebroadcast throughout the week.

Some meetings of the Independent School District 192 Board of Education are broadcast on Channel 10. Visit the ISD 192 web site at www.farmington.k12.mn.us for the latest schedule.
Channel 16
Meetings of the Farmington City Council and other government boards are aired on Channel 16. For a full schedule, visit the city’s web page at www.ci.farmington.mn.us.
