Haley Luhman tied coach Lynn Bauman’s Farmington High School record in the balance beam with a first-place score of 9.4 in Friday night’s dual meet against Prior Lake at Twin Oaks Middle School.
Unfortunately for the Tigers, that was the only beam routine they stuck and Prior Lake’s 2-3-4 finish in the event turned out to be the difference in the Lakers’ narrow 138.575-138.075 win.
Luhman once again finished first in the all-around competition with a score of 36.3. Along with the beam, she was fourth in the vault (9.0), second in the bars (8.6) and third in the floor exercise (9.3).
Terra Klima continued to excel in the bars, breaking her own school record with a 9.5 that ranks as one of the top scores in the state this year.
Also finishing first for the Tigers was Kathryn Beckett, who earned a score of 9.325 in the floor exercise.
Amy Kiminski was fifth in the beam (8.125) and fifth in the all-around (33.225).
The Tigers wrap up the regular season tomorrow night when they host the Missota Conference Championships at Boeckman Middle School. The Section 1AA Championships will get under way the following Friday in Owatonna.
