FHS will hold speech showcase

Ever wondered what students in the Farmington High School speech program really do to compete? Well, here’s a chance to find out.

On Monday, April 12, beginning at 7 p.m., the FHS speech team will host a new event, the speech showcase.

The event will feature speeches by every single member of the team — some will give a minute or two of their routine, others will do their entire speech.

The event will be held in the recital hall at Farmington High School. Because it’s a first-time venture, speech advisor Halley is inviting the entire community to come and enjoy the evening. The event is free and open to the public.
