Girls golf: Tigers ninth at Otness Invite

Eighth-grader Brianna Swenson and senior Alexia Rains supplied Farmington’s top two scores during a ninth-place finish at last Wednesday’s 11-team Stan Otness Invitational at Fountain Valley Golf Course.

Eighth-grader Brianna Swenson and senior Alexia Rains supplied Farmington’s top two scores during a ninth-place finish at last Wednesday’s 11-team Stan Otness Invitational at Fountain Valley Golf Course.

The Tigers shot a team score of 434 to finish ahead of Holy Angels and Richfield. Missota Conference rival Northfield claimed the team title.

Swenson led Farmington with an 18-hole round of 97 and Rains was five strokes back with a 102.
