Contracts, preliminary levy on school board agenda

Money in various forms is on the agenda for the Farmington School Board when it meets Sept. 27.
The board will vote on a contract for principals at the meeting. It will also approve a preliminary levy. The preliminary levy sets a maximum amount the district can collect in taxes next year. The school board will approve a final levy in December.
The board will also vote on a new contract for district principals and on changes to compensation and benefits for employees not associated with a bargaining group.
Also on the agenda: school improvement plan reports from North Trail and Riverview elementary schools, a first reading of a policy governing acceptable use of district technology and a final reading of a policy regarding the Rehabilitation Act.
