Lakeville man killed in Saturday accident

A 62-year-old Lakeville man was killed and his wife was seriously injured in an accident Saturday afternoon on Cedar Avenue south of Lakeville.
According to the Dakota County Sheriff's department Ricky Dean Ball and his wife, Nancy, were riding separate motorcycles southbound on Cedar Avenue, south of 230th Street, when a northbound car trying to turn into a private driveway pulled into their path.
Nancy Ball, 61, was in serious condition Saturday at Hennepin County Medical Center.
The driver of the car, 76-year-old Donna Rollins, was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Dakota County Sheriff's Department and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating the accident. The Lakeville Fire Department also responded to the accident.
