Girls basketball: Tigers avenge loss to Shakopee

Farmington held Shakopee to 11 first-half points and never trailed in a 46-32 Missota Conference win Friday night at Tiger Gym.

Farmington held Shakopee to 11 first-half points and never trailed in a 46-32 Missota Conference win Friday night at Tiger Gym.

With the victory, the Tigers set the school record for wins in a season with 18. They also avenged an earlier conference loss to the Sabers and moved into a second-place tie with them in the league standings at 7-3. New Prague and Chanhassen sit at 8-2.

Taylor Meyer led the Tigers with 17 points.
